Based in the small town of Bingley, it is in close proximity to the world renowned textiles area of the West Riding of Yorkshire, with the city of Bradford at its centre.  The location provides easy access to the U.K. textile market and to the other important European markets.

Established in 1991, and building on the earlier foundations laid down by P.W. FIBRES LIMITED, ALPHA TOPS (U.K) LTD. is now recognised as a leader in the field of speciality fibres such as Mohair, Alpaca and Cashmere, along with other noble animal fibres.

Managing Director Robert Weatherall has a career spanning more than 30 years in the industry and having travelled extensively is a  well known figure in the major Mohair markets of the world. He is backed  by a keen and enthusiastic staff with Richard Walton offering support on Alpaca and in marketing of both Mohair and Alpaca yarns.

Along with other offices around the world they carry details of stocks and prices for all group members including CAPE MOHAIR SPINNERS (PTY) LTD, Port Elizabeth.
