ALPHA TOPS, Geneva while
having only limited trading activities, have the role of group headquarters where they
consolidate most of the group
administration. We supervise the finances, endeavouring to assign
them in the most efficient manner. More importantly, we continuously
receive information from the various offices and in co-ordination with
their managers form a general policy for the whole group.
The chairman, Mr. Francis O. Patthey, started the company in
1979 together with Mr. Pino Alvigini and is in charge of
inter company communication.
Mr. Patthey has for most of
his working life been involved in speciality fibres, particularly Alpaca
and built up a successful business in Arequipa, Peru (Inca Tops). ALPHA TOPS has expanded widely in
recent years and in conjunction with the other group offices now trades world wide.
